# Codex SDK Demo

Local examples built with the `openai-codex` Python SDK.

- `demo1/`: basic SDK calls and project generation.
- `codex-sse-demo/`: FastAPI + SSE web demo.
- `codex-sse-demo-absolute-path/codex-sse-demo/`: Windows absolute-path edition with a folder picker, connection configuration fixes, and regression tests.
- `demo_2simple/`: calculator example.

## Run the absolute-path edition

In PowerShell:

```powershell
cd codex-sse-demo-absolute-path/codex-sse-demo
python -m pip install -r requirements.txt
python -m uvicorn app:app --host 127.0.0.1 --port 8000
```

Open <http://127.0.0.1:8000>. This edition defaults to the existing local Codex login and `gpt-5.6-luna`. See its README.md and `.env.example` for configuration.

## Regression tests

From the absolute-path edition directory:

```powershell
python -m unittest discover -s tests -v
```

Local credentials, databases, virtual environments, caches, and ZIP archives are excluded from version control.
